Winter flowers from Victoria to warm Ontario gardeners

Here are flowers in the December sunshine on Vancouver Island to warm Ontario residents after the snowstorm. Lavateria is hardy and may flower during Christmas or New Year's Day in southwestern BC. I used to live in Ontario and I've seen many winter storms but the snow puts many in the holiday mood.

Thanks Den. Gorgeous, as usual. Today is very grey, very wet, not very wintery. Temperatures are above zero, and the deep snow cover over my perennials is slowly melting.
