Patio pots in full florida sun

Just moved to Florida from up north. We have a pool that is right by the water and we get a lot of sun. I need to know what to plant in my patio pots that will tolerate the sun and heat. Please help!

| Patty, crotons will work great. Welcome to Florida. We moved to central Florida from the Chicagoland area 2 years ago Please note that you are in the conversation area. If you post your questions on the discussion area, you'll get more results. There is also a Florida gardening forum. Good luck. Lynne |

Florida is exciting for those who like tropical plants. Though I am in Zone 8 (coldest part of Florida), most of my tropicals survive through the winter (with a little TLC). Anything that grows in zones 8 and up should be good to go. Welcome to Florida! Dee |
