Patio pots in full florida sun

Posted by msaboys Florida (My Page) on

Just moved to Florida from up north. We have a pool that is right by the water and we get a lot of sun. I need to know what to plant in my patio pots that will tolerate the sun and heat. Please help!

Patty, crotons will work great. Welcome to Florida. We moved to central Florida from the Chicagoland area 2 years ago

Please note that you are in the conversation area. If you post your questions on the discussion area, you'll get more results. There is also a Florida gardening forum.

Good luck.

Florida is exciting for those who like tropical plants. Though I am in Zone 8 (coldest part of Florida), most of my tropicals survive through the winter (with a little TLC).
Anything that grows in zones 8 and up should be good to go.
Welcome to Florida!
