| Just wanted to say hi. It is nice to have found a message board for the Gulf Coast. I live in NW FL zone 8 about 30 miles north of Pensacola. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing. |

| I am so jealous of you Florida gardeners, you have such great plant sources in your state. I went to visit West Palm Beach, and bought back so many plants, I had to have them shipped by UPS. Something that would cost $7.99 a gallon here, was $1.25 a gallon there, and was bursting from the sides. I bought suitcases of plants home. I removed all the soil and put the roots in zip lock bags, and packed them in suitcases. Eveything made it except the nuns orchid, and the Kings Mantel Shrubs, I do not think they liked the salt. |
