Sick Phlox 21st Century Blue

I can never get these guys to grow good here on coast I love the plant but seems they alway get yellowing leafs and soon after die anyone grow phlox well and could help me out I plant mine in full sun and they get to the flowering part and soon after they get yellowing lower leafs and pass on I do dead head please help.
