What is your favorite hardy gulf coast rose?

I may love other roses blooms,but for a carefree rose I choose Knockout.I have had it since it first came out and it blooms all the time except feb.carefree and healthy.It is a great rose for this area.Jessie

Knockout is great, but if you want a hardy rose that makes a LOT of petals, you can't do any better than Mrs. B.R. Cant. It looks like a cabbage rose, but has the toughness of Knockout.

If I have to pick only one, it would be the carefree, non-stop blooming Mutabilis.

I would add Ducher to the list. To me it is like a white, full-flowered Knockout. Plus, it has something none of the Knockouts have - fragrance!
