Have you ever had any luck with Astilbe? Also, when is the Galveston County Swap? Did I miss it, already?

forget the astilbe-it grows in Alaska & other far northern regions. How was the trade? I went to San Francisco instead.

It was great. I saw a former next door neighbor. That was fun, and her husband gave me lots of horsetail for my pond bog. I also saw an ex co-worker, so that was great, too. My MIL won a little door prize and it was just your regular nice day. The last time I went it rained like crazy. This was better, as it was just a little rainy and the overcast skies kept things fairly cool.
Hope you enjoyed SF. Lots of flowers to see there, I know.
