Im hoping to get some suggestions for what seems to be a tricky planting area.

There are two spaces on the NNW front facing of the house. From May to August, they get a lot of intense sun; almost no shade after 11am. During the middle of winter, the house casts a constant shadow. We also get a lot of wind. Some days are gustier than others, some are downright brutal.

Ive had decent success with some trailing lantana and a gardenia, but very few plants seem to be happy there year round.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
