Can wheat be grown in southeast Texas? If so, are there any difficulties in this region? How about tobacco?
Thanks,
Arthur Ford

You can grow wheat. I believe they plant soft red winter wheat in the fall and harvest it around May 1. Not sure about tobacco,it will probably grow ok.

Got hard red winter wheat growing right now for my dogs--they love it. Plan to plant more this fall. I am SE of San Antonio, if that helps. I had thought about tobacco myself till I thought about curing it, etc.
