| I have what I believe to be a Crepe Myrtle and a huge one at that. We bought this house two years ago and year 1, it bloomed beautifully. After doing much reading, I elected not to prune it. Then year 2 came along and it didn't bloom. Well it did, but only about 3 blooms. I fertilized it last year and so far have not done it this year.
The leaves just opened a couple of weeks ago. It appeared to be the last of all the trees to open leaves.
When would I expect to see blooms?
Are there any other tips I should be aware of?
Oh and to add, for some reason my zone has been changed. I'm in 8b and have been. I just realized that Gardenweb changed it. When I go to change it back, it snaps back to 8a. Weird. |
