When do Crepe Myrtles bloom?

I have what I believe to be a Crepe Myrtle and a huge one at that. We bought this house two years ago and year 1, it bloomed beautifully. After doing much reading, I elected not to prune it. Then year 2 came along and it didn't bloom. Well it did, but only about 3 blooms. I fertilized it last year and so far have not done it this year.

The leaves just opened a couple of weeks ago. It appeared to be the last of all the trees to open leaves.

When would I expect to see blooms?

Are there any other tips I should be aware of?

Oh and to add, for some reason my zone has been changed. I'm in 8b and have been. I just realized that Gardenweb changed it. When I go to change it back, it snaps back to 8a. Weird.

Here is a link that might be useful: Why I didn't prune...

you should to start to see some buds now and should in a few weeks start to see blooms! unless its a newly planted tree. I which case it may not bloom till next year.

Well it bloomed the first year we moved in, but didn't bloom much last season and this season nothing so far. It's definitely an older one.

I have trimmed it back and given it some love. If it doesn't bloom this year hopefully next year it'll do better then.

Thank you SO much for responding! :)
