Seed survival rate with 4"+ of rain?

New plot gardener here, a little concerned about the seeds I just put down, followed by 4" of rain. There was some pooling in the plot, can I consider the seeds a waste and order new ones, or should I give it a few weeks? There's 4 days of heavy rain forecast, in late May.. :\

The rain should help the seeds sprout, but where they might have been moved to (by the rain/water) is probably not where you put them. They could be at the edges of the pooling, or in a pile in the middle, the low spot. Depends on whether or not they were a type that floats, and how strong the water movement was. Scattering seeds is not easy, keep trying!!
