Raspberry Bush -) Brown leaves?

Hello all!

I bought this raspberry bush at the Green Thumb fest on 4/27. I keep it on my patio that gets full sun for about 8-10 hrs a day. I repotted it in a slightly larger pot and mixed in some Garden Magic nutrients in unfertillized soil/ mixed half and half with sphagnum peat moss. I fed it some Garden Magic fertilizer (about 1/2 cup). on top around the roots. I water he plant about once a week right now. It has decent drainage. ph is about 7. There appears to be some brown leaves. Does this look healthy? ANY ADVISE IS MUCH APPRECOATED!

Sounds like the same situation as the berry bush. Roots are suffocating/rotting. Possible fertilizer OD.

Hmm. I don't usually put raspberries and Florida in the same thought...
A quick search indicated that they may be grown as an annual there...or, perhaps that some of the fall-bearers might work.

Drainage issues, soil too wet, too dry, too-wild swings between the two extremes, fertilizer burn...
