I really wanted to try this with a grouping of Mimosa trees (1.because I could acquire free and 2. because they grow fast)

But hubby just could not tolerate my transplanting Mimosa's onto the property. I have decided to do a grouping of Drake Elm trees and weave them into a huge column.

We are in our final home (retirement home) and so all those wish I could try things are coming to haunt me.

Am mostly interested in the grafting technique if anyone has tried their hand at this.

Would love to hear if anyone else has done this.
