| I have started some fall vegetable seeds for this year and want to know what you all think on laying black plastic down on top of my soaker hoses to cut back on weeding. I am concerned that the Texas sun will bake my root system under the plastic when I transplant them. Any advice or experience with this? |

| Why don't you do a heavy mulch? That should do a better job. Black Plastic is usually used to heat the soil. |
