My scuppernongs are turning ripe. They are so sweet. If you have never tried scuppernongs now is the time. If you are wanting to grow scuppernongs now is also the time to sample what is available. If you get a vine without sampling its fruit first you may get a variety that don't suit you. When you find what you want get a rooting from that vine. Ask around for people with scuppernong vines or run an ad in craigslist.
