update-----re: texas coastal bend

Because of the weather, we are going to reschedule our MG Hidden Gardens Tour and Fall Plant Sale to next Satuday, October 6, same place and time.
If you have any questions, call the Extension Office at 361-790-0103.

I was going to call Janie V. and let her know, but I don't have her telephone number. . . .only her email address. If anyone has it, will you please give her a call for me.

Thanks!

RE: Texas Coastal Bend

Anyway to pre order??? LOL My walk thru today I saw a bunch of plants I wanted. I always think I do not need anymore and sure enough there they are. Big Plumerias, Daturas, and vaigated plants. I also know these will not disappoint as everything from the last sale was stellar.

Sorry Jim, but we don't take preorders because if we did, we wouldn't have any plants to sell at the "plant sale". And yes, we have some great plants there. Were you there today looking, or were you there yesterday looking? The reason I ask is because a man came by yesterday and wanted to buy plants, we said no, he asked if he could look, we said look but don't touch! HA! HA!

Anyway, he said that he would be back to buy some today, but alas the weather did us in. Hope to meet you next week and that the weather cooperates with us!

I'll be working in the greenhouse selling herbs!

Opps! I read it again, and I see that you said today. What time were you there?

RE: Texas Coastal Bend

I was the last one in I guess Saturday at 9 am. I am 6'2" and wore shorts and sandals. I was driving my wifes Marquis. I was kidding on preorders. I is more fun to do it the hard way. I still have a bunch of plants that have not been planted. Seems when you propagate through cuttings it is easy to develop a bunch. I was hoping for the sale to go on so I could go on the tour this weekend. Life is not perfect but that makes it fun.

Jim
