Can these survive on the coast?

I plan to move some large tropicals that I struggle with in S.A. during the winter and hope they all can survive and do well in Rockport. But I would like to know if the following will work there. They are:
1. A fairly large Magnolia in a pot (never bloomed)
2. Cat's Whiskers
3. A HUGE Angel Wing Begonia (huge, healthy but doesn't bloom - too much shade, I know)
4. A large Night Blooming Jasmine also in a pot and droops every day and needs constant watering. Don't have time and would love to put it in the ground but I can't in S.A. I hope someone can advise before I leave for R.P. tomorrow afternoon. Thanks.

All of those should do well in the ground in Rockport. I am a bit north of RP, and they all survive here. The Cat's whiskers freeze back, but they have always come back. I would move the begonia to a protected spot when it gets real cold, but everything else should flourish in the ground. Janie

Thanks Janie - If you see this would you comment on salt water spray? The back of the house faces the water and gets spray & wind at times but that's the south side of the house. I know the begonia would get beaten up by the wind so I wouldn't put it on that side but I guess I'm thinking of the magnolia and other plants I didn't ask about because they're not as large and I know they'll be O.K. in that climate and zone. But, I'm not sure about being so close to the (salt) water - which is about 50 ft from the back of the house. Barbra said you will be going to the MG's plant sale on Saturday. I am too and look forward to meeting you. Even though it was a virtual monsoon last weekend, I could see they had some beautiful plants for sale. Really looking forward to it. Thanks. Ruth

Night blooming Jasmine. If you have the room plant as much as possible. Next to Brugmansia, NBJ is my favorite. Fragrance wise I know of no plant that can even compete. I love mine. I plan to add more I have 20 but would like another 20 before winter. Their scent is very intoxicating. I lived 9 years on the water. Hard to say what will survive. There is a lot of humid salt air. I quite gardening. LOL just to much work. I do know Oleanders, and most waxy leaf plants do ok. Jim Jim
