| My banana tree has a nice bunch of green bananas that I am afraid won't ripen before we get a freeze.
Any suggestions? A couple of years ago we tried putting some in a bag with store bought over ripe ones, ours turned yellow but did not ripen on the inside. We got a bunch a few weeks ago that did ripen on the tree, they were really good. |

| Bring the whole bunch in on the stalk before a hard frost or freeze. We hung our stalk on the hall tree and when they ripened, made banana pudding! Note: Even in the hot climates where bananas are grown commercially, they don't let the fruit ripen on the trees. |
