Black Beans -

I've always canned my black beans plain - just water, not even salt. But I've been thinking it would be nice to season them before canning - that way I can just open a jar and dump it over rice and I have a quick and easy dinner.

So - how do you can your seasoned black beans?

Mostly plin so can use them in any way. But some with dried onion and/or dried pepper flakes.

Any dried seasonings that you might use in the dish after opening are fine but as you know they can intensify so just use sparingly.

I like mine with salt. Just plain, no added dried things. I would think dried onion would be good, though.
