Juicing then canning?

Posted by MrsAlford none (My Page) on

I just bought a juicer and I have tons of cranberries in my freezer tht I have been planning on canning for juice. INstead of the traditional way of canning cranberry juice, could I just use the juice to render the juice then go to canning? I would of course, make sure I make the juice hot to ladle in and go from there on canning.

Just curious, didn't know if anyone else have tried it!!!

Thanks!!!

Sure. No reason why you couldn't as far as I know. I just find that 'juciers' have more waste and less juice but I'm sure that depends on the juicer itself.
