| I was in the frozen food section at the grocery store and ran across some Allens brand "french fried" green beans. I cooked them in the oven and they were very good, my wife even loved them and she hates green beans!
I haven't been able to find them again. I asked the store manager and he said that they sell out so fast that they can't keep them on the shelf. Anyone have a recipe? |

| I got a callback from the store, they said they have increased their supply! I still need a recipe though, I would prefer homemade! |

| http://www.food.com/recipe/french-fried-green-beans-364592 is just one recipe that comes up on Google. I guess if you wanted to batter and fry them and then freeze then for later oven heating it would work. You might also be able to batter and freeze them spread out on a cookie sheet and then fry when ready to eat. Allens doesn't publish what their batter recipe is but the batter used would be your choice. Try making them in beer batter like you would fry fish. Dave PS: they are also sold under other brand names |

| I dip them in beaten egg then seasoned fish fry (Zatarian's) and fry them. You can get the beans at Sam's Club also but are too expensive for me. |
