| When I had problems with lids (on new jars - had sealed in shrinkwrap and I had some failures even after heating the lids as usual), I just called the customer service line - you can find it on their website www.freshpreserving.com or on the box. Good luck, they sent me some coupons but what I really wanted was replacement lids! Funny about you finding depressions in new boxed lids - I haven't had a problem with those, just ones shipped (screwed onto) with new jars. |

| I just emailed them to complained and they sent me a coupon. But here's a solution: Instead of simmering the lids, bring them to a boil. That totally resolved my problem with new lids purchased on jars. |
