| Help-yall-please-----eggs-,blueberries,etc are-sitting-on-kitchen,counter,etc
I-have-a-great-Gluten-free-cookbook-got-from-local-library booksale. I-made-the-delicious-coffeecake using-cranberries.got-them-on-speciall-after-new-years......It-has-real-low-sugar,too.... wanted-to-buy-the-last-twelve-packs-of-cranberries----but-waited-too-long-they-prob-threw-them-out..... .I-was-going-to-ask-produce-manger-to-reduce-them-even-more-if-I-bought-the-whole-12-packs... ---Moral---dont-be-afraid-to-ask-them-to-mark-down-stuff-esp-last-sale-dates,etc... Recipe -calls-for-cranberries-suggested-adding,carrots-etc........yum-yum-made-four-so-far.... Now-got-blueberries-clearance-recently---- what-can-I-add-to-the-blueberries,besides-nuts,OF_COURSE-Yum-yum....? Would-carrots-work???? I-want-some-kind-of-veggie to-balance-the-sugar Thanks-all-Jean |

| A mild winter squash might be good too (spaghetti type). Or a not so mild one (butternut, acorn, pumpkin). I think carrots would be good too though. Try cutting the sugar by about 1/3 if it's too sweet. Deanna |

| Decided on carrots---cause stuff was-sitting-on-countertop......It-turned-out-okay.Doubled-the-recipe all-but-the-blueberries......not-quite-doubled-sugar- dripped-molasse-from-almost-empty-bottle-ito-it......Pretty-good-the-first-one-finished-yesterday Wish-pecan-walnut,were-not-so-high----settled-on-almonds- Love-the-crunch-of-nuts.. I-still-have-more-pumplkins..... Got-one-sitting-cut-open-in-kitchen-now Going-get-fat-from-eating-all-that-delicious---Pumpkin-gooey-cake......even-though-put-less-sugar,cream-cheese-than-called-for Will try pumpkin next... I-had-to-toss-out-three-pumpkins-cause-they-got-frozen-----and yucko---moldy....out-in-garage--- ..It-bothered-me-to-do-so--but-cant-eat-liquid-slime-mold Trying-to-compost-the- soft,bad-parts---but-so-much-to-deal-with-here-in-city-burb...
