Presto says no more than 12,000 btu's with their canners. They also show a picture of their canner on a turkey fryer with a big X through it.
Maybe sell the other one and get one that is suitable.
We really do not recommend canning on any of these, but it is up to you.

60k btu's per burner and you can't turn it down enough

I agree with Linda Lou. That is far too high a BTU rating for the canner, especially if it isn't fully adjustable.

My propane burner is 35,000 BTU but it is fully adjustable down to 10,000 BTU.

It is one we have discussed here in detail in the past and posted pictures in use etc. I can find that discussion for you if you need it. Otherwise look for a set up with 1/2 the 120,000 BTUs on the unit you got and especially one with better, more finite controls.

I am new to all of this and need to purchase a propane burner for pressure canning outside. Has anyone tried the Camp Chef EX60LW? Does it have fine tune temp contols needed for the pressure canner and can it hold a 22qt. and all of it's weight ok? I noticed the Northern Tool burner also-any opinions on the comparison of the two?

Probably as long as you recognize that the extra time to bring it up to pressure might result in a few foods being over-processed ie: more mushy. I can only guess how many additional minutes might be needed. My 12,000 BTU burner (which I never use at full pressure anyway), once up to pressure, only needs about 3-4,000 btu to keep it at pressure.

Either single or double burner. The ones that have propane cannister attached to either the side or back next to unit so it won't take up a lot of space.
