How do you label your jars that you plan to re-use?
Follow-Up Postings:

Just write the name and date on the lids since they get tossed. Some buy or make adhesive labels for the jars but I find them a real pain to clean off. Dave

I have my own design for circular labels I apply to the lid. All I have to change is the name of the product and the date. I gave up on jar labels a long time ago. Like Dave I hated the work of removing them afterwards. Carol

Same as Carol. I make my own labels for the lids. I don't bother for basic things that won't ever be gifts like beans, carrots, etc. I just write the year on the lid. If you do a search here, the place I buy my labels from should come up. 2" labels work for regular lids and 2 1/2" for wide lids. Deanna

I use a marker......date.... content...doesn't matter if you put the content but I swear with jelly and jam and that sort of thing, I always end up trying to figure out what kind it is.

Deanna Thanks for the info. And I found downloadable designs. Amazing!!!! With little designed labels, you have all the info and the jar looks cute as well!
