Ever pickled snow peas? I have a surplus this year and I'm thinking they should be fine if done similarly to green beans and stored in the fridge instead of running through a canner. Thought I might blanch them or steam them for a few minutes before pouring on the brine. That would soften the larger ones a little. I want to try dill and also sweet like bread and butter. Any thoughts?

I've made them and was unimpressed with the texture. I did can mine though, so if you just refrigerated, they may be better. Deanna

I might have to try them anyway. Maybe pickle crisp will help. Thanks again.

Absolutely! Especially if you aren't planning to can them, you can try just a jar or two to see if you like them. Deanna
