My husband & I are taking a very long road trip, we like to take stuff to snack on as we travel, but we don't like a lot of sweets, candy, cookies etc. So I was wondering if I buy a package of the hickory sticks that come in a bag (unrefrigerated) and need to be refrigerated after opening, if I could open it and put two or three in a food saver bag and seal it if they would need to be refrigerated since they had been opened. I know you can buy single ones that don't need refrigerated but we happen to like other ones, I hope someone can understand what I am asking, Buy a bag that doesn't need to be refrigerated until opened, open it vacum seal some then leave them unrefrigerated.
