| I have searched and can't find anyone who seems to have done this. I'm about to have ALOT of them, (actually really surprised by this) is there anything you can do with them to "keep" them. |

| I have never preserved them, but don't see why you couldn't treat them like green beans. The package I have says they can be eaten whole while still immature. Shell or horticultural, beans are removed from the pod and eaten when fully formed, but still soft. Dry or field, beans are left on the plant until the beans rattle in their pods. They are a Dutch wax bean. Hope someone that has grown them will respond so I'll know if I'm right or wrong. |

| One of our favorites. They are normally treated as a dry bean so we let them dry on the vine and then just store in jars till use. | Dave, Thank you! That's fabulous! Do you think if I canned them fresh, they would keep producing? I will eat some fresh as snap beans, and can them as shelly beans. |
