| I'm growing amaranth for greens and grain for the first time this year. I planted it more thickly than the ideal for grain production, so I know I can keep cutting the tops off some greens-only plants which will be kept small. I've read that it's also possible to harvest some greens off amaranths being grown for grain, but I don't know in that case whether I should be taking leaves from the bottom or near the top or.... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

| I can't answer your question since I've never grown it. You may want to post it on the garden forum to get an answer. |
