10 oz. canning jars?

I was just given some older canning jars (yay!) and ran across a whole box of 10 oz. "jelly jars." I've been unable to find any guidelines about processing them. I'm wondering if they need additional processing time than the typical jelly jar, since they are larger. Can you help? Thanks!

RE: 10 oz. canning jars?

As long as they are used for acidic jams and jellies, no. The 10 min. processing is sufficient since all you are doing is creating the vacuum seal.

If used for low-acid foods (which isn't recommended) then pint processing times are used.
