Green Bags

OK, I ran my own "test". I caved in and bought some Green Bags. Much to my surprise, they actually work!!

These bananas are from the same bunch. Broke two off when I got them home last Thursday (6-12-08) and put them in the bag.

The others just sat out on the counter. My house stays around 68-72 degrees, but we were warmer over the weekend (as high as 78 inside).

HereÂs what they looked like last night (6-16-08). Definite difference!!

I got a pretty darned good deal on the bags at the link below.

50 bags (3 different sizes) for around $20. Look online for coupon codes for ReusableBags.com. I think I saved about $5.00 that way (almost covered the shipping anywayÂsmile).

They are very generously sized. The medium bag is long enough to cover a bunch of celery and wide enough to go over a bug bunch of bananas.

You Âmight need the large one for huge heads of cabbage, broc, lettuce or cauliflower, but the medium is big enough for most things.

Just wanted to share something that actually works "as advertised". They are getting few and far between!
