| Can I waterbath raisin butter just like apple butter? My idea is to cook raisins down with a little sugar and cinnamon and then waterbath. Just wanted to make sure it would be safe to waterbath. I have done rhubarb this way and it is wonderful! |

| I don't see why you couldn't, but why bother? You're expending time and money for utilities and canning supplies for a product that can be made easily any time of the year and would keep well under refrigeration (and probably at room temperature for quite a while). Carol |
