| Ball has some lid label templates that can be downloaded to use with Avery labels. I could see using something like that for gifts. (For my own use its just a sharpie on the lid.) But I need more space than that to write! |

| Sharpie on the lid for me too :-) However, I did break down and buy some of the new dis-solvable labels to give them a try for gifts. For me it's cheaper than replacing the ink in my printer, which seems to always be running out. Val |

| World Label has some very nice labels that are free downloads, many can be printed on the computer. They commission different artists to make free labels. They have sizes that are comparable to Avery. One of my favorite artists is Cathe Holden. She has quite a few labels for food. Hope you find something you like.
