| Went to COSTCO and they had a hummis/pesto dip! I grabbed the ingredients label and went home to make it! Also came up with a guak/hummis! Hummis- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained (reserve the liquid, 2 TBLSP lemon juice, 1/2 tsp cumin, 3 cloves garlic.Add reserved liquid to your taste. For these mixture dips, you don't need all the tahini stuff. Rather than make a whole pesto recipe, I added about a cup of basil leaves, and a couple TBSP of parm! Add in the reserved liquid as needed. Next, Your guac /hummis. This is kinda cheating, but I toss a couple of avacados and some hot salsa in the ultimate chopper, and voila! Guac! Mix with another mess of hummis and you're good to go! I've also added cilantro into the mix! I'll tell you what! For less than $5, I have 2 wonderful dips for CHEAP, and actually fairly healthy! Goes great with veges too! Nancy |

| Thanks for posting this. I actually made the basil hummous yesterday and it went down very well. So easy and delicious. I added some olive oil to it as well which worked great. |
