Refrigerator Pickles left out overnight

My wife bought me some Bubbie's kosher dill pickles last night but left them in the car overnight. Should they be thrown out?

Wouldn't bother me to keep them...

They were left out maybe ten or eleven hours. I stuck them in the fridge to await a verdict.

Who is this BUBBIE???

I would still eat them, unless it was really hot where they were, which I don't think it would be at night. I would be ok with 70, maybe 80, but not a sunny car...except in places where it's sunny at night...there it's probably also cold enough to keep them refrigerated.

I would eat them faster than usual though. How are the Bubbie's? I tried a jar of Ba-Tempte half sour pickles, and some of them were soft, which grossed me out and made me wonder whether the jar was safe. I have since found an occasional soft half-sour at pickle bars, so maybe it's just something that happens. I like making my own half-sours but they're not as good as the ones you get in NY.

I was curious, too, Ken ...
so I did a search

No current recipe there, but I am almost sure it is a salt brine fermented pickle. Judging by the age, also probably mostly canned in refrigerated jars. My half sours are as much as I want to have for flavor, salt, and speed of making.
