| Has anyone tried the Cucumber Pickles w/Lemon recipe in Topp's Complete Book of Small Batch Preserving? My picklers are starting to come on strong and I thought I'd try something different. My family loves dill pickles ("inhales" is probably a better word; I will be canning a bunch more this year), and is not fond of Bread and Butter type pickles. I've done lime pickles in the past (I loved them, they did not) and all sorts of relishes. Anyway, any thoughts about that recipe or any other one? Thanks so much! |
