Freezing Harvested Veggies

Hi all. I've been reading a lot on freezing veges and I got an idea.... is there anything wrong with grouping veges in the same freezer bag for storage? We eat a lot of stir fries and I thought I could save some time by putting the beans pepper onions all together in the freezer bag instead of each vege separately. I guess I should blanch separately and then add them all together? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes -- you can package them together. I would blanch them separately 'cause that's just how I do things.

Agree - blanch separately and then mix into the bags. But peppers and onions don't really need to be blanched. Sliced/diced they freeze just great unblanched. Saves you some work.

Thanks for the responses. That will save me a lot of time with our stir fries!
