RE: hot chow chow recipes for pinto beans and limas

NCHFP provides several chow-chow type relish recipes since chow-chow is a relish. They call for sweet peppers but you can sub hot peppers for a portion of them as long as the total amounts remain the same.

Piccalilli

Rummage Relish

Fall Garden Relish

Green Tomato Relish

Then there is this discussion from a couple of weeks back called Looking for a tomato relish for beans

Hope this helps.
