Not truly a "harvest" question, but related.

I've got two Mirro canners.

One is the 12 qt. with the disc style weight (Model M-512)

The other is 22 qt. with ball style weight (Model 92022)

Can I purchase a replacement vent tube and disc weight for the 92022 and get rid of the stupid ball one that has to be screwed on (rather than just a quick drop) in the hot steam?

Anyone done this, know if it'll fit?

I've emailed for support, but I can imagine that'll take a day longer than forever and I'd like to swap it if I can and USE it THIS season! Grin!

You guys are way faster and actually use the darned things.

Whoever designed the ball style obviously didn't can.
