| HI all,
After reading a lot of posts on this forum about recipes from sources that you think should be safe, but may not be I am now a little paranoid. I was in the process of making Sure Jell's Hot Pepper Relish and wanted to run it by the experts for their 2 cents: 4 cups finely chopped peppers
Bring pepper, pectin and vinegar mixture to a full rolling boil. Stir in sugar and return to a full rolling boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Skim off foam. Fill jars and process in BWB for 10 min. Is this safe? Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I searched and found a lot of pepper jelly posts but none I read answered this question. Thanks. |
