Hi -- I have an abundance of plums right now & I've made enough jam & butter. Does anyone have a plum syrup recipe (canned)? Thank you!

There is a whole thread about making fruit syrups, not even half way down the page. No specific information on plum, but by looking at the links and recipes, you should be able to adapt to your plums.

Here is a link that might be useful: Fruit Syrup Thread

Agree. All recipes for fruit syrups are basically the same regardless of the the fruit used. You don't need one specifically for 'plums'.

OK, thanks. I didn't realize that the recipes for canned syrups were less exact than other preserved fruits and that I could swap out different fruits.

As long as they are an acidic fruit (no figs or mangoes or windfall apples), no problems. The NCHFP instructions calls for "fruit of choice".
