 o
Yardlong beans with mint...

Hello all,

I know this is not the cooking forum but....

I mistakenly added fresh candy mint leaves (about 1/4 cup) to a pot of yardlong beans which were being stir-fried in a bit of peanut oil. I immediately knew it was mint (and not basil) because the aroma was heavenly. I thought - what the hay... Continued cooking until they were done but with still some crunch (al dente?).

After they were done I put a squeeze of lemon juice and just a bit of butter - they were really good.

Cheers,
DL
