| Good Morning!
I am getting back into canning after many years! I am planning to can a Ball recipe for Summer Salsa. It includes fresh tomatoes, peaches & pears in the recipe. My question is can I substitute frozen unsweetened peaches for the fresh in the recipe? Also, can I use additional peaches to replace the amount of pears in the recipe? Thanks very much for your input. =) |

| Yes to both questions. I've used frozen peaches in recipes with no problems. Measure them before they thaw - a pound of sliced peaches should give you a generous 2 cups. |
