| Hi all, I've just harvested my first batch of tumeric and wondering how to dry it before grinding it for the kitchen. I've read it needs boiling before drying, but thinking this will kill all the goodness? What do you recommend? |

| I boiled mine and chopped it up and then dehydrated it before I ground it up in a spice grinder. Most of it did not last long, it got some sort of mold so my next crop will go in the freezer for storage. I think the boiling is because you can't get all the dirt off the roots, so the hot water sterilizes them. |
