| I bought a case of 24 cups of Greek yogurt with strawberries very cheap since it was near the "use by date." I thought my wife would help me eat it, Not! It is out of date now, still good, but I'm sick of eating it! Freeze it, use it in some type of bread or muffins? Maybe use it in place of milk in waffles? Any recipes? I hate to just chunk it! |

| Freeze it - maybe she'll eat it that way! |

| It keeps pretty much forever, just gets more acidic. But yes, you can freeze it, or mix with water and use in waffles, pancakes, muffins, quick breads, etc. Even french toast! |
|
| Thanks, Nila, do you have any idea of a water to yogurt ratio? Maybe mix in the yogurt and add water until it's the right consistency? I am going to make waffles for several folks this Saturday. I got elected..... ;) I'll experiment with a small batch first though! |

| Personally I don't like Greek yogurt, but like the regular. |

| You could freeze it with popsicle sticks to make yogurt pops. Also try freezing it in ice cube trays to add to smoothies. |

| If you have a dog, my two adore frozen yogurt. It's a great treat on a warm summer day. My cats love yogurt, too, but not with fruit. They're picky. Perhaps a dip for fruit? I make plain yogurt, but I just add some brown sugar or cinnamon, sour cream, cream cheese, sweet curry powder, what ever sounds good. Yours already has the fruit and is probably sweeter, but maybe that will give you another idea. |

| I would just zip it up in a blender and freeze it in individual servings. Just like ice cream! |
|
| I use half yogurt half milk in recipes that call for buttermilk and there's no buttermilk in the fridge. Since its strawberry yogurt, waffles made from it with strawberries and cream on top sound yummy! I'd probably also bake up some quick breads or muffins and pop them in the freezer as well. |

Unless the recipe calls for buttermilk :). Add a speck of baking soda to the batter, too, and the waffles will be very light and puffy :). |
