A smidge off topic: Jars to go bag

If any of you are like me and like to bring lunch in mason jars, I thought you might be interested in this. I stumbled across this nifty pattern for a "Jars to go bag". If you sew and have a bunch of fabric laying around (I won't mention my fabric stash.. it's.. intimidating) this bag would be fun to make, I think.

FYI: I'm not affiliated with this crafter at all. I found it on the Food in Jars website. The crafter sells the pattern and the finished bags. I bought the pattern, but if you are clever you could probably figure out how to make the bag without one.

Thank you. This would be a nice gift. I know how to sew and have plenty of fabrics here.

Those are cute - I will figure out the pattern (I'd like it for jelly jars for gifts, if I ever really get jamming this year). But can you tell us roughly how much fabric is needed for the outside of the bag? I've got lots of remnants. Thanks
