How long should I store fresh soybeans in the fridge?

Just picked some fresh soybeans but there are not enough to really make it worthwhile to steam yet. I put them in the fridge. Does anyone know how long I can keep them that way without compromising the taste? I ate one raw just now and they are sweet and yummy.

They go starchy fast. Like in a day. You would actually be a lot better off blanching (can be done in or out of the pod) and freezing them.
