Used Too Much Pickle Crisp

Hi, I used Ball's Pickle Crisp for the first time to try making crispier pickles. The directions say to use 1/8 rounded teaspoon per pint. Somehow I incorrectly read 3/4 teaspoon per pint when I was making them. So I used 6 times the recommended amount in each pint. Does anyone know if too much Pickle Crisp is a safety issue? It may be a taste issue but I'll find that out soon enough. Thank you!
Bill

It's not a safety issue but your pickles may shatter! They'll definitely be crisp.

They may taste bitter, too.
