| Okay, here's the problem, I've totally ignored my greenbeans, after a couple of pickings weather turned 100 degrees or more the beans would set on but shrivel before they got over an inch long, well today I decided to check on them. I have beans that are as big around as my finger, too big to can right? some were soft they went to compost pile, but most were crispy, just big, any body have suggestions other than compost them.

| Make pickles out of them - Dilly Beans or 3 bean salad. Personally when they get like that I just let them dry on the vine and then save them for seed to plant the following year. Dave |
