I have a $5 coupon coming soon from Ace. Haven't gotten the flyer yet. Do they have jelly jars on sale? I have plenty of pints, and just picked up 11 brand new (in the box) quarts from Freecycle (don't know if she just canned 1 quart of something and then gave up?).

It only shows the pints on the flyer so I don't know whether the jelly jars will be on sale or not. I've been buying jelly jars at the navy commissary for $6.50. That is quite a find on freecycle.

I got jelly jars for $6.77/doz at W*mart - Big Lots wanted $7.25 for GH!

I just got the flyer in today's paper - sale starts tomorrow. No mention of WM pints, quarts or jelly jars. Gonna have to stop by (where IS that $5 coupon they told me was coming???)

BTW, Melly, I gave a jar of your Peach Preserves to my cousin (who had given me a bottle of almond extract the day b4 Irene so I didn't have to run to store). She loved it and wants the recipe (I also told her about Helen Witty's rum one and the one I made with Frangelico).

I stopped by Ace today. (Since I only have 7 dozen empty pints available.) I dunno if it's only my Ace, but there were no sale prices marked in the aisles. But the price rung up at $5.50 per dozen. I had the Ball coupon for $1 off. So I got 2 dozen pints for $10.
