| Hi - I have about 30 lbs of peaches to put up. I freeze slices and make jam but I want to also can some halves or slices. I 'd like to use fruit juice instead of sugar. Do any of you have a recipe that uses juice? Thanks |

| They will not be as firm, though. Sugar helps keep them firmer, plus you will usually have more issues with floating fruit in juice or water. |

| That's a good point from Linda Lou. Even the very light sugar syrup recipe will give you much better quality. You don't need to use the full heavy syrup. Dave |
